The Dallas Cowboys will face the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 3 on Monday Night Football. Here are five bold predictions for that game.

After going 1-1 on the road to start the season, the Dallas Cowboys will be at home for their Week 3 contest against the Philadelphia Eagles. Clearly, this is a rivalry that interests fans since it will be a Monday Night Football showdown despite the fact that the NFC East has been anything to write home about in recent years.

Still, these are the two teams that will likely be battling for the top spot in the East and that means that this game in Week 3 could have some implications later in the season.

Both will be holding nothing back as there’s never any love lost between these two franchises – although the “beat Dallas” shirt worn by Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni might have been a little too goofy. I mean, Freddie Kitchens did something similar when he was coaching the Browns and we saw how that worked out.

But I digress and get back on track with these five bold predictions for the Cowboys as they host the Eagles in AT&T Stadium.

Dallas Cowboys Bold Prediction No. 5: Micah Parsons scores first NFL pick

Anyone who watches the Cowboys would never call them a brilliant organization. Take Micah Parsons for instance. He played out of his mind in Week 2 while lining up at defensive end. He looked better than DeMarcus Lawrence at times even.

So naturally, they have no plans to keep him there. They would rather move him back to linebacker where he can impact the game less. Sorry, but it’s true — the linebacker spot simply doesn’t change the course of the game the way an EDGE can and Parsons proved that against the Chargers.

However, he will probably play more linebacker now since Randy Gregory is activated off the COVID list and while he won’t harras Jalen Hurts all game now, this prediction is that his talent is enough to overcome the curious decisions the staff makes as he scores his first career pick off the Eagles quarterback.
