DraftKings NFL Week 3 lineup picks: Wide Receivers
Shocker, but Tyreek Hill ($8,400) is worth the price as the most expensive wide receiver on the main slate. I actually prefer him to DeAndre Hopkins ($8,200) at the top of the board as the Cardinals star is less than 100 percent and might not even play. Stefon Diggs ($7,600) has serious upside but the Bills offense has left me a bit lukewarm.
That said, the combo of Tyler Lockett ($7,400) and D.K. Metcalf ($7,300) for the Seahawks is huge as they face a bad Vikings secondary. Lockett has been better early in the year but Metcalf is due for a huge game. Opposite those guys, I also like Justin Jefferson ($7,200) and Adam Thielen ($6,700) in a potential shootout.
Calvin Ridley ($7,000) and Terry McLaurin ($6,900) are hard to trust given either matchup or circumstances, but more so with Cooper Kupp ($6,800) still priced cheaper than them. Against a nicked up Bucs secondary, the guy averaging 33.3 points per game on DraftKings is a huge smash for me.
Good luck figuring out a jumbled bunch of teammates between Keenan Allen ($6,600), Mike Williams ($6,400) with A.J. Brown ($6,500) and Julio Jones ($6,500) sandwiched between. The difficulty of separating that group, despite potential, makes them a possible stay-away for me. Yet, the upside might be too high to not get some shares in my DraftKings NFL Week 3 lineups. Mike Evans ($6,300) and Chris Godwin ($6,100) are in a similar boat, though I’m more intrigued with Antonio Brown likely out.
Allen Robinson II ($6,200) could be a relatively affordable stack with Fields if you go that route but I would prefer Darnell Mooney ($4,300) as his price and workload don’t line up (though he is listed as questionable). I also prefer the upside of Chase Claypool ($5,800) to JuJu Smith-Schuster ($6,000) with Diontae Johnson ruled out.
Finishing out the players in the $5,000 tier, I like the upside of Robert Woods ($5,700) and the fact that Marquise Brown ($5,600) might be mispriced while Michael Pittman Jr. ($5,500) has huge upside. And Odell Beckham Jr. ($5,300) is a boom-or-bust option with Jarvis Landry out for a pretty good matchup against Chicago’s secondary. Rondale Moore ($5,000) showed out last week and could also do so again.
As far as deeper values go, Marvin Jones Jr. ($4,900) is just flat-out mispriced against a shaky Cardinals secondary. I also like Rashard Higgins ($4,200), K.J. Osborn ($3,500) and Scotty Miller ($3,100) as dart throws if you need a cheaper option.
