DraftKings NFL Week 3 lineup picks: Tight Ends
Travis Kelce ($8,200) is going to be the chalk play and he should be as he’s been a monster with 26.3 points per game on DraftKings. With that said, I love Darren Waller ($7,400) for $800 cheaper and against a Dolphins linebacker group that’s been terrible to start the year.
There’s a huge drop-off after those two if you want to spend down at tight end and Rob Gronkowski ($5,500) and T.J. Hockenson ($5,200) will likely be extremely popular because of that as they both are averaging over 23 points per game so far in this format.
I don’t like Mark Andrews ($5,000) when Kyle Pitts ($4,900) has more upside and just as good of a matchup. The same is true for Noah Fant ($4,800) as pass-catcher injuries in Denver have made him a big part of the offense and has him averaging 12.8 points per game on DraftKings.
Normally, Tyler Higbee ($4,000) always piques my interest but not against the Buccaneers and with Jared Cook ($3,900) seeing a nice target share and having a good matchup on his plate this week.
Going deeper, it’s not hard to see Austin Hooper ($3,600), David Njoku ($3,500) or Harrison Bryant ($2,800) popping for the Browns but it’s hard to tell who will be the primary target in this game as it seemingly changes each week. And finally, Maxx Williams ($3,200) caught all seven targets for 94 yards last week and could be a cheap flier.
