Buccaneers vs. Rams prediction No. 4: Jalen Ramsey gets a pick off Brady

Tom Brady isn’t much for throwing interceptions, especially when he’s on. The 44-year-old tossed two picks in the season-opener against Dallas but then threw none against Atlanta a week ago. But in NFL Week 3, he’ll be facing one of the best cornerbacks in the league in Jalen Ramsey. And LA’s superstar of the secondary will get the better of the GOAT at least once in this contest.

Antonio Brown has been ruled out of this contest after going on the COVID/Reserve list earlier in the week. Ramsey has moved around into the slot and outside just as often over two games and we’ll likely see more of the same. But with Brown out, that likely means he can blanket either Chris Godwin or Mike Evans on any given play. Brady is feeling it and will try to test Ramsey but the corner will make him pay.

Buccaneers vs. Rams prediction No. 3: Vita Vea scores 2 sacks

Throughout Sean McVay’s time in Los Angeles, his team has consistently played well in the trenches and that remains true. That being said, one area of the offensive line where they’re more vulnerable is on the interior. And that could be a problem at times on Sunday as the Buccaneers have an absolute game-wrecker ready to attack and exploit that area with Vita Vea.

Despite his obvious deterrence against the run, Vea has been a beast in generating pressure this season. In fact, he has the fifth-best pass-rushing grade among interior defensive line players through two weeks according to PFF (subscription required). He’ll get home on the relatively immobile Stafford on Sunday and bring the quarterback to the turf at least twice on the day.
