Two Los Angeles Rams wide receivers came up with huge performances vs. Bucs

3. Cooper Kupp, WR – If you thought that Cooper Kupp was going to slow down against Tampa Bay after a torrid first two games of the year, you were sorely mistaken.

Kupp wasn’t racking up the yardage he did a week ago but was consistently finding cracks in the Buccaneers secondary and making plays. He finished the game with nine catches on 12 targets for 96 yards and two touchdowns, setting a Rams-high with receptions and scores.

Kupp now has over 350 yards and five touchdowns through the first three games of the season. It feels pretty safe to say that he and Matthew Stafford already have a pretty good and dangerous rapport in this offense.

4. DeSean Jackson, WR – One of the big things fans hoped that Stafford would add to the Rams offense was a more effective deep passing element. Early in the game, we nearly saw that as the quarterback slightly underthrew for a bomb to veteran newcomer DeSean Jackson. But Stafford made up for it to start the second half as he hit the speedster for a 75-yard touchdown that caught the Bucs sleeping.

Jackson played a big role in the offense, even if he only finished the game with three receptions. Tampa Bay had no answer for his speed, which is still prodigious even as he’s now in his mid-30s. He racked up 120 yards and the aforementioned score, which only makes the Rams offense scarier moving forward.
