Fantasy football rankings for Week 4 waiver wire pickups where Chuba Hubbard should be your top target but there are other players worth adding.

It’s time to dig in. No matter how your fantasy football season has started off for the 2021 campaign, there’s still a lot of season left. But in most cases, you can’t just sit there and watch your current players on the roster and hope things change. You have to be aggressive and the waiver wire pickups are a great place to do that.

And there are some fantastic waiver pickups available coming into Week 4.

Whether it’s due to injuries or just roles becoming more apparent — or even someone signing ahead of Week 4 — there are options you should be looking at. We have ranked the best fantasy football waiver wire targets for Week 4.

Fantasy Football Rankings for Week 4 Waiver Wire Pickups

1. Chuba Hubbard, RB, Panthers (17.3 percent) – We saw last year with Mike Davis that any running back filling in for an injured Christian McCaffrey is a viable starter in the Carolina offense. Hubbard filled in after CMC left in Week 3 with 11 carries for 52 yards along with three receptions (on five targets) for 27 yards. He’s the top waiver wire priority, without a doubt.

2. Emmanuel Sanders, WR, Bills (32.2 percent) – Yes, Sanders had a monster day with 94 yards and two touchdowns but his usage in the Bills offense has been high. He has at least six targets in each of the first three games with three end zone targets over the last two games. Currently WR27, he should be added.

3. Josh Gordon, WR, Chiefs (12.2 percent) – I tried — I really did. I attempted to not get swept up in Josh Gordon because he hasn’t been a fantasy football stud since 2013. But the thought of him in the Chiefs offense, a unit that needs a player exactly like him, is too much for me to ignore.

4. Hunter Renfrow, WR, Raiders (16.7 percent) – It may never be flashy but Renfrow remains a huge piece in the Las Vegas offense. He has at least five catches and 57 yards in every week and has more 22 targets over three weeks. Especially in PPR leagues, he’s well worth having on the roster.

5. Christian Kirk, WR, Cardinals (30.8 percent) – Rondale Moore is going to take patience but Christian Kirk might be a player fantasy managers can pick up and start right away. He’s WR15 in PPR leagues and has 17 targets over three games, coming off a season-high eight targets and 104 yards. He’s a big-play threat seeing a lot of work, which makes him valuable in this offense.

6. J.J. Taylor, RB, Patriots (0.7 percent) – This pickup could burn you because who knows what the Patriots are planning with their running back room at any given time. With that said, James White is now out and Taylor is the most natural replacement as the receiving back. He also flashed in the preseason and could be worth a stash to wait and see how things transpire.

7. Tommy Tremble, TE, Panthers (0.1 percent) – Tight end is pretty barren and Tyler Conklin is another player worth a look. But the upside of Tremble is huge. He has one catch on one target but the Panthers have raved about him. Now, Dan Arnold and his 11 targets this season have been traded, meaning Tremble should step into those looks and the rookie can make plays in the passing game.
