I understand — everyone is loving Derek Carr and the Las Vegas Raiders right now. They’re one of the only remaining undefeated teams in the NFL, and there’s a reason for it. With that said, I will warn that you’d be ill-advised to overlook the Los Angeles Chargers.
Justin Herbert is quickly proving himself to be one of the best quarterbacks in the league. He was the best gunslinger on the field in Week 3 when the Chargers took down the Chiefs, and will likely be the best again when the Raiders come to town in Week 4. His presence will help Los Angeles come up with a clutch win to improve to 3-1.
The Raiders won’t make it easy though. Carr will continue his MVP campaign, putting up big numbers through the air. While the numbers will look great, it’ll be the Los Angeles defense that comes up with a clutch turnover in the final minutes to seal the deal.

The AFC West is turning out to be one of the deadliest divisions in the league in 2021. While it’s still anyone’s guess who’s going to take the crown when the regular season is over, the Chargers pull even with the rest of the leaders with a hard-fought win in Week 4.
Prediction: Chargers win 35-33 | Spread: Chargers (-3.5)
