Dallas Cowboys beef up both lines in early 2022 NFL Mock Draft

Dallas Cowboys Round 2 pick: Kingsley Enagbare, EDGE, South Carolina
After beefing up the offensive line, the Cowboys turn their attention to the defensive side of the line as they take South Carolina’s Kingsley Enagbare. Right now, the best defensive end on the Cowboys roster is actually a linebacker as Micah Parsons has been playing great since moving up to help replace DeMarcus Lawrence who is out with a broken foot.
Randy Gregory hasn’t taken off yet as hoped and there’s not much behind him that they can truly count on. That’s why the Gamecocks pass rusher makes sense as he could be developed into the No. 1 pass rusher of the future.
Dallas Cowboys Round 3 pick: Jalen Catalon, Safety, Arkansas
Every Dallas fan has been screaming for years that the front office needs to do something at safety and this year, they went out and signed three in free agency. Damontae Kazee, Malik Hooker, and Jayron Kearse were all brought in and Kazee and Kearse have been playing great.
It’s no coincidence that this has helped their defense improve, but all three are on one-year deals so Dallas is likely to be in the same boat in 2022. So that means we predict a safety here in Jalen Catalon. But if we’re being honest, he will probably be available but the Cowboys will instead go with a backup linebacker or something instead.
Dallas Cowboys Round 4 pick: Tyler Davis, Defensive Tackle, Clemson
With the first of two fourth-round picks, we grab Tyler Davis from Clemson. He’s able to play either defensive tackle position and could be a solid fit next to Osa Odighizuwa who had a great game in Week 3.
