After a slow start to the season, Spencer Rattler falls to the end of the first half while Sam Howell goes to the Giants in this 2022 NFL Mock Draft

With four weeks now in the books, we have a better understanding of what each team in the NFL will be this season.

While it’s not technically a quarter of the way through the season anymore — since the league went to 17 games — it’s still enough of a sample size to see where teams need to improve.

And that’s what we try and do here as we offer up another 2022 NFL Mock Draft where we predict what will happen with the first 32 picks next year.

2022 NFL Mock Draft at Week 5 of the season

Pick Analysis. OT. Evan Neal. 52. Scouting Report. Alabama. 1. player

1. Jacksonville Jaguars: Evan Neal, OT, Alabama

The first team on the clock is the Jacksonville Jaguars and they decide to add some beef to their offensive line. Evan Neal is an absolute mammoth at 6-foot-7 and 351 pounds but he moves like someone much lighter.

He can handle bot the speed and power rush and will help Trevor Lawrence feel much more comfortable in the pocket.

Oregon. Kayvon Thibodeaux. player. 30. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. EDGE. 2

2. New York Jets: Kayvon Thibodeaux, EDGE, Oregon

Up next in this mock is the New York Jets who have yet to really break out this season. New head coach Robert Saleh hasn’t had the best start but it’s hard to put too much blame on him since the roster is really an issue – and hey, they got a win this weekend, so they should be thrilled.

Last season, the Jets added Zach Wilson and Alijah Vera-Tucker in the first round and then Elijah Moore in the second. This was an attempt to overhaul the offense and now in this draft — where they again have multiple picks in Round 1 — they begin to address the defense with the selection of Kayvon Thibodeaux from Oregon.

Easily the best pas-rusher in this class, he goes first overall and will have a lot of expectations put on him but he should be able to live up to them.
