19. player. 123. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. C. Iowa. Tyler Linderbaum

19. Dallas Cowboys: Tyler Linderbaum, C, Iowa

In 2020, the Dallas Cowboys offensive line was a mess. This was due in large part to injuries they sustained and so far in 2021, they have been much better. That doesn’t mean there aren’t issues, because they do have some — with Tyler Biadsz being one of them. The second-year player has been an issue for them at times, especially in the Philly game when he was shoved into Dak Prescott which caused a fumble and touchdown recovery for the Eagles.

That’s why the Dallas front office elects to go with a center with their first-round pick, taking Tyler Linderbaum from Iowa. The Hawkeyes have produced some elite offensive linemen in recent years and Linderbaum seems to be head and shoulders above any other center prospect.

Adding him to the line that has already seen some great play this season from Tyron Smith, Connor Williams, and Zack Martin should make this team even more efficient on offense.

Scouting Report. Kaiir Elam. player. 35. Pick Analysis. CB. Florida. 20

20. Tennessee Titans: Kaiir Elam, CB, Florida

There was a time when the Tennessee Titans defense was one of the best in the NFL, but that hasn’t been the case lately. In Week 4, for example, the struggling New York Jets threw the ball all over them with rookie Zach Wilson tossing 297 yards (career-high) with two touchdowns while completing 61.76 percent of his passes (also a career-high).

Tennessee aims to slow down the opposing passing game here with the selection of Kaiir Elam from Florida. He has football in his bloodlines with both his father and uncle playing in the NFL.
