Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. QB. Oklahoma. 27. player. 48. Spencer Rattler

27. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Spencer Rattler, QB, Oklahoma

Tom Brady will probably play until he’s 60. Or at least that’s how it seems. But that doesn’t mean the Tampa Bay Buccaneers shouldn’t plan for life after Brady, especially if a talented player such as Spencer Rattler falls to them — which is exactly what happens in this 2022 NFL Mock Draft.

Rattler was once considered a top pick but he’s had some ups and downs this season which seems to have hurt his stock. After being leapfrogged by several other quarterbacks, he ends up sliding to the back half of the first round.

He and Brady might not have similar playing styles but there’s still plenty he can learn about being a pro by working under the greatest quarterback in the game.

Pick Analysis. OG. 28. 16. Scouting Report. NC State. Ikem Ekwonu. player

28. Buffalo Bills: Ikem Ekwonu, OG, NC State

Josh Allen continues to perform at a high level for the Buffalo Bills and has them once again entrenched as favorites in the AFC East. Buffalo has also done a good job investing in talent around him and that continues in this mock as they grab Ikem Ekwonu from North Carolina State.

Ekwonu has emerged as one of the best guards in the nation and should find himself becoming a long-time starter in the NFL. For the Bills, he will help keep the middle of the pocket clean for Allen while also opening up plenty of running lanes for their backfield committee.
