FanDuel NFL Week 5 picks and lineup advice: Wide Receiver

With all of these high-powered passing offenses off of the slate, the receiver options are extremely limited as well. Davante Adams ($8,200) is the most expensive play on the slate and still a fantastic value this week. In a game that projects to be a battle between high-scoring passing offenses, Adams should be the primary beneficiary against a Bengals defense that has yet to face an offense on the level of the Packers.

Justin Jefferson ($8,000) is also up there in price, but I prefer going to Adam Thielen ($7,500) to save some salary and buy low after a poor performance in a game where the Vikings offense just never got going.

Scrolling down the list, the salaries of the wide receivers begin to look highly questionable. Amari Cooper ($7,100) and CeeDee Lamb ($6,900) are both solid options and always have the talent and potential to put up a big game, even with Dallas transitioning into a more run-heavy offense.

A.J Brown ($6,900) is healthy and gets to face an awful Jacksonville defense as potentially the only receiving option in Tennessee. I do not mind going back to Kenny Golladay ($6,200), who broke out for 116 yards last week and should see similar volume this week in a high-scoring affair against the Cowboys.

If you find yourself looking for some punt plays at the receiver position, Jakobi Meyers ($5,900) is a cheap option that will guarantee you some production. He has seen 26 targets the past two weeks but has yet to find the end zone. Additionally, Laviska Shenault Jr. ($5,800) continues to be more involved with D.J. Chark suffering a season-ending injury and now gets to face an awful Tennessee secondary that just got carved up by Zach Wilson.
