Quarterly MVP odds: +7500 Carson Wentz
Everyone is just going to have to face it, Carson Wentz is simply never going to be in the discussion for league MVP ever again.
The 2017 NFL season was a magical one for him. Before the former Philadelphia Eagle went down due to a torn ACL, he was having the season of his life. Wentz locked up his first Pro Bowl appearance by throwing for 3,296 yards, 33 touchdowns, and only seven interceptions in just 13 games.
Since then, Wentz has been a complete mess. His completion percentage has fallen off in each season since then and so has his game. In the end, the Eagles shipped him off to the Indianapolis Colts and so far, new scenery hasn’t helped him in the slightest.
The Colts have won just one single game in their first four and Wentz hasn’t put up the sort of numbers that will placate the front office. With only 920 passing yards and five touchdowns, were quite honestly pretty surprised that Wentz isn’t more towards the bottom of this list.
