Quarterly MVP odds: +7500 Kirk Cousins

Were a bit disappointed with how the season has gone for the Minnesota Vikings.

It’s early but the losses they’ve racked up are mind-boggling. Admittedly, the Cincinnati Bengals are much improved but the Vikings should have found a way to win that game instead of losing a heartbreaker in overtime. Week 2 was even more difficult to deal with.

After Kirk Cousins drove his team down the length of the field in the waning seconds of the fourth quarter, the signal-caller set up a chip shot for kicker Greg Joseph. Unfortunately for the Vikings, it was wide left and no good.

So far, the Vikings are sitting on just one victory in their first four games but it isn’t Cousins fault. He’s thrown for 1,121 yards, nine touchdowns, and only one interception. His numbers aren’t just good, their great.

But, no matter how stellar Cousins is from an individual standpoint, we all know that he isn’t winning the award unless the Vikings can turn things around quickly. Until that happens, don’t you even think about putting your money on Cousins.
