The 30th greatest quarterback-wide receiver duo in NFL history: Matt Schaub & Andre Johnson

Granted, the Houston Texans were pretty pathetic when Andre Johnson and Matt Schaub were on the field with one another. Any talk of them being a viable Super Bowl threat was pretty much nonexistent.

But while putting your faith in them has never been a sagacious decision, from 2007-2013, the Texans had one of the very best duos in the whole league. Schaub was a backup quarterback for the first three years of his career in Atlanta but he took off once he landed in Houston. In only his third season with his new team, Schaub led the NFL in completions and passing yards. Also, in three of his four seasons with the Texans, Schaub threw for more than 4,000 yards.

Providing Schaub with a ton of help in the process, was Andre Johnson. In four of six seasons, Johnson registered no less than 1,216 yards. In back-to-back seasons, Johnson led the NFL in receiving yards with 1,575 yards and 1,569 yards respectively.

Forget about the wins and losses, the Texans had a prolific offense when they were on the field together.
