The 27th greatest quarterback-wide receiver duo in NFL history: Jeff Garcia & Terrell Owens

Jeff Garcia didn’t have a memorable career. For most of it, his teams languished around .500. But, with the help of wide receiver Terrell Owens, Garcia was considered one of the best quarterbacks in the game for a short period of time.

From 1999-2003, the pair terrorized the league. Garcia was a prolific passer with Owens by his side. He recorded three straight seasons of at least 3,300 yards. Twice during that stretch, he had back-to-back seasons of over 30 touchdown passes.

As for Owens, he was great no matter where he went but during his five seasons with Garcia, he easily produced his best numbers. In four of those five years, Owens had no less than 1,102 recovering yards. He also had three straight seasons of double-digit touchdowns.

Both players were selected to three Pro Bowls as teammates. They connected on numerous touchdowns, over 6,000 yards, and dragged the San Francisco 49ers to the postseason in three out of five seasons.
