The 26th greatest quarterback-wide receiver duo in NFL history: Daryle Lamonica & Fred Biletnikoff

The Oakland Raiders, now known as the Las Vegas Raiders, have fallen on hard times over the years. The franchise has made the playoffs just once in 18 seasons. In that same time frame, the Raiders have pumped out one, just one winning season.

Long-time diehard fans of the Raiders, however, remember decades upon decades ago when the franchise seldom lost a game. During a 41 game stretch from 1967-1969, the Raiders won 37 of those 41 games. The main reason behind the Raiders success was quarterback Daryle Lamonica and wide receiver Fred Biletnikoff.

With the two on the field, the Raiders rarely lost games in the regular season. In fact, from 1967-1974, their entire time together, the Raiders never produced a losing season.

Pro Bowl selections and All-Pro nods became the norm for the pair. Despite the overwhelming success both as individuals and as a team, the Raiders never made it over the championship hump. They did manage to make one Super Bowl appearance but they came up short against the Green Bay Packers.
