The 21st greatest quarterback-wide receiver duo in NFL history: Aaron Rodgers & Jordy Nelson

Players such as Aaron Rodgers don’t exactly need a safety blanket but in wide receiver Jordy Nelson, that’s exactly what he had.

For most of his career, Nelson was widely underrated. For some inexcusable reason, he was selected to only one Pro Bowl. In order to make the squad, Nelson needed to put together the best season of his career. In 2014, Nelson racked up 1,519 yards, 98 receptions, and 13 touchdowns. It wasn’t like Nelson wasn’t worthy in other seasons. The dependable wide receiver had three other seasons in which he registered over 1,200 receiving yards.

Rodgers, of course, was as great as ever. He was a constant fixture on Pro Bowl rosters and All-Pro teams. He was also firmly in the discussion for MVP as well. As a pair, both Rodgers and Nelson led the Packers to the postseason in just about every season that they were teammates and in 2010, they took home the Lombardi.
