The 12th greatest quarterback-wide receiver duo in NFL history: Antonio Brown & Ben Roethlisberger

Some serious respect needs to be paid to the pairing of Antonio Brown and Ben Roethlisberger.

As members of the Pittsburgh Steelers, there was simply nothing any defensive coordinator could do to stop them. In seven of their eight seasons together, Brown easily cracked the thousand yard mark. It isn’t hyperbolic to say that his numbers could stack up with the greatest receivers in history. From 2013-2018, Brown recorded at least 1,284 yards per season. When he was at his best, he was consistently on the verge of hitting the 2,000-yard mark.

Once Brown became unstoppable, Roethlisberger followed suit. He continually registered seasons of over 4,000 passing yards. During the 2018 season, he had a year in which he racked up 5,129 yards, a league-best.

The pair never made a Super Bowl appearance, but as a duo, at least for a handful of years, there was no better combination in the entire league.
