The 6th greatest quarterback-wide receiver duo in NFL history: Otto Graham & Dante Lavelli

The combination of quarterback Otto Graham and wide receiver Dante Lavelli led to a ridiculous amount of hardware for the Cleveland Browns.

In today’s era, the Browns have mostly been known as a sorry group that failed to accomplish much of anything. However, in the late 1940s and mid-1950s, the Browns lit up the scoreboards and made their way to countless championships.

In total, Graham and Lavelli were responsible for seven NFL titles, five of which came in a row.

Things were easy for the pair during their tenure together. Graham led the league in passing yards on five separate occasions and thrown touchdowns three times. Graham’s numbers aren’t exactly a surprise as Lavelli consistently found himself near the top of the wide receiver food chain, year in and year out. While he never recorded a season of over a thousand yards, he did lead the league with 843 in 1946.

With both players making numerous trips to the Pro Bowl and not to mention, having enough rings to cover almost every single one of their fingers, they deserve this top-five ranking.
