The 44th greatest quarterback-wide receiver duo in NFL history: Brett Favre & Donald Driver

Brett Favre and Donald Driver spent nearly a decade as members of the Green Bay Packers. With so much time with one another, they built a bond and piled up a ridiculous amount of accolades.

In Driver’s first three seasons as a Packers, he appeared to be heading towards becoming a waste of a draft pick. In those three seasons, Driver racked up just over 500 total yards. Once the Green Bay coaching staff decided to push him into the starting lineup, however, he took off.

In four straight seasons as teammates, Driver compiled over 1,000 receiving yards. As a result, Favre went on to garner almost 16,000 total yards during that four-year time span. Driver wasn’t quite Hall of Fame material, making only three Pro Bowl squads during his career. Be that as it may, there was a stretch where you couldn’t mention the best receivers in the game without saying his name.

As for Favre, what more can be said about him? He pushed the Packers to numerous postseason berths. Pocketed a number of MVP trophies and is considered one of the greatest quarterbacks in league history.
