Fantasy Football waiver wire, Week 6: Quarterback

At this point in the fantasy football season, you’re more likely looking at streaming quarterbacks unless you are hoarding for future trade situations.

With that being said, who are some QBs worth streaming for a week?

1. Taylor Heinicke, Washington Football Team

Although he had a bad week against the Saints, a very good defense, Heinicke is worth a potential week six flyer against a Kansas City defense that has struggled tremendously.

Not only have the Chiefs struggled defensively, but given the nature of how Kansas City games go, you could be looking at the possibility of a shootout here.

At the very least, unless Heinicke completely wets the bed and throws pick after pick, Chiefs games are almost guaranteed to be an opportunity for QBs to load up the stat sheet even if their team doesn’t win.

Heinicke has three multi-touchdown games out of five this season.

2. Sam Darnold, Panthers

Sam Darnold is going up against a beat up Minnesota Vikings secondary this coming week and he’s coming off of two performances with a combined five interceptions.

Prior to the interception run he went on Darnold had been dealing a bit with three straight games of over 300 yards passing.

He could get back to that against the Vikings playing at home and potentially with Christian McCaffrey back as an outlet.
