Dallas Cowboys bold prediction No. 4: Pollard and Elliott top 100 yards

Ezekiel Elliott and Tony Pollard are both playing incredibly well this season. Zeke enters Week 6 on the heels of his second-consecutive game with at least 100-yards and had 95 the week prior to that. On the season, he has 452 yards on the ground and six total touchdowns. It’s a far cry from how the season started when Tampa Bay’s insane rush defense slowed him down.

As for Pollard, he’s had at least 60 yards in each of the past three weeks with a total of 325 yards and one touchdown on the season. Both are on pace for over 1,000-yards on the season and it appears as though Kellen Moore isn’t about to split up this committee that’s working so well (and there’s no reason he should).

This week, the Cowboys will face a New England defense that’s not terrible but they’re also roughly middle of the pack against the run so far in 2021. According to ESPN, they are giving up 111 yards per contest. However, they haven’t faced a duo this talented just yet.

In this second bold prediction, the Cowboys double-up on the Pats’ average for the season as they top 200 yards with both Elliott and Pollard crossing the 100-yard plateau.
