Dallas Cowboys bold prediction No. 2: Dak Prescott throws three touchdowns

Somehow, the attention for the Cowboys this season has not been on Dak Prescott as much as anticipated. That feels weird since he’s coming back from a devastating ankle injury that sidelined him for the final 11 games in 2020.

It’s also strange because he’s playing incredibly right now. Through five games, Prescott has 1,368 yards with 13 touchdowns and just three picks. He’s also completing 73.9 percent of his passing attempts on the year.

On Sunday, Dak is going to have his work cut out for him with New England boasting one of the top passing defenses in the NFL. They’re giving up just 206.6 yards per game through the air which is better than all but four teams in the league.

However, Prescott has already torched two of the teams ranked higher than the Pats. In Week 3, he had 238 yards with three touchdowns and no picks against the Eagles. He followed that up with just 188 yards against the Carolina Panthers – but he also only had 14 completions since they were killing the clock most of the game. Prescott also avoided any interceptions in that one while tossing four touchdowns.

Look for him to continue putting up big numbers against defenses that aren’t surrendering a ton of yards. Expect another turnover-free game with over 300 yards from No. 4.
