Pick Analysis. WR. USC. Drake London. player. 53. Scouting Report. 23

23. Cleveland Browns: Drake London, WR, USC

The Cleveland Browns have the luxury of truly taking the best player on their board and that could wind up being a number of players at a variety of positions.

So let’s have some fun.

The Odell Beckham Jr. trade has not worked out for Cleveland, even though the Browns have really emerged in the years since that trade as one of the NFL’s top teams and most well-rounded rosters.

A big-time receiver like Drake London would be a lot of fun in Cleveland and would allow this team to comfortably move on from Beckham.

He’s got a 6-foot-5 frame and has been catching everything this season at USC, even if he only has one hand to work with at times. He’s been making plays deep downfield, after the catch, and perhaps no receiver in college football has boosted their stock more as a result.

Scouting Report. Adam Anderson. 24. 50. Pick Analysis. EDGE. Georgia. player

24. Detroit Lions: Adam Anderson, EDGE, Georgia

After a mini-breakout in 2020, Adam Anderson has burst onto the scene in the most literal way in the 2021 season for the stellar Georgia defense.

In the first five games of the season for Georgia, Anderson has 4.5 sacks and 4.5 tackles for loss and a plethora of pressures, outstanding reps in coverage, and he plays with big-time burst off the edge.

Although Anderson is lanky at 6-foot-5, 230 pounds, he has good play strength and that should only continue to improve the older he gets. He can use his length and hand punch to win off the edge in the run game but his most impressive ability is the way he can blow by offensive tackles with pure speed and timing of the snap.
