FanDuel NFL Week 6 picks and lineup advice: Running Back

While the options at quarterback are limited, it feels like many of the usual top options are available at running back this week, with the exceptions of Derrick Henry and Alvin Kamara. Christian McCaffrey ($10000) is the most expensive back on the slate and is certainly worth that price tag if he is good to go.

Dalvin Cook ($8800) is also certainly a risky play, considering he will be coming off an injury if he does indeed suit up. However, I think he is actually a sneaky tournament play against a Carolina rush defense that is not as good as their number one ranking indicates. If he is truly good to go, this is about as cheap as you will ever be able to get Cook.

Austin Ekeler ($8400) has been an absolute beast this year and has delivered touchdowns which was one of his biggest question marks coming into the year. Now he gets a matchup against a Baltimore defense that has struggled against the run and the pass in what projects to be a high-scoring matchup. He is about as safe a play as you will ever have in DFS and I am personally locking him into my cash lineups this week.

Speaking of safe, Darrell Henderson Jr. ($7300) has seen a consistent amount of touches in a high-powered Rams offense against a Giants defense that has struggled against the run. In a game that has the Rams as 10-point favorites, Henderson should see twenty or more opportunities and provide solid value for your DFS lineup.

Joe Mixon ($7000) is probably one of my favorite tournament plays of the week, as if he is fully healthy this is a steal against a terrible Detroit rush defense, especially with Samaje Perine on the COVID list.

Finally, Chase Edmonds ($5900) saw a huge price drop after a weak performance in Week 5 where he was dealing with an injury. Now he gets a matchup that should be much higher that actually has the undefeated Cardinals as underdogs against the Browns.

Before his Week 5 dud, Edmonds was an incredibly consistent player, so I think he is a very solid play at this price point.
