FanDuel NFL Week 6 picks and lineup advice: Tight End

This week I think who you play at the tight end position is largely dictated by how much salary you have remaining. If you find yourself with a lot of cash left, Travis Kelce ($8500) is someone you need to have in your lineup. This is especially true with Tyreek Hill questionable coming into this game that has the highest over-under on the slate.

If you do not have quite enough money for Kelce, Mark Andrews ($6300) is coming off a huge game and is way too cheap against a Chargers defense that has given up the second-most fantasy points to opposing tight ends.

Finally, if you are looking for a punt play I like Ricky Seals-Jones ($5000) as he saw a high target count last week in the absence of Logan Thomas and should have another nice game against a terrible Chiefs secondary.

FanDuel NFL Week 6 picks and lineup advice: D/ST

The Indianapolis Colts ($4700) are my favorite play on the slate as 10-point favorites in a game with an incredibly low over-under, but I would also never recommend paying up for a defense unless you have the salary left over.

While there are not any super obvious punt plays, I like the Minnesota Vikings ($3700) against a Carolina offense that will likely be without Christian McCaffrey and has come down to earth these past couple of weeks.

I also think the Cleveland Browns ($3600) are a sneaky play this week in a game that projects bad weather with the Browns as favorites.

FanDuel NFL Week 6 Lineup

  • QB Justin Herbert – $8000
  • RB Austin Ekeler – $8400
  • RB Joe Mixon – $7000
  • WR Keenan Allen -$7100
  • WR Marquise Brown -$7000
  • WR Michael Pittman Jr. – $5800
  • TE Mark Andrews – $6300
  • FLEX Khalil Herbert – $5500
  • D/ST Indianapolis Colts – $4700

This lineup is built like a tournament lineup that stacks the Ravens versus Chargers game. With five total pieces from that matchup, the outcome of that game will make or break our lineup. With the inherent risk that this style of lineup brings, I have put some safer plays in to guarantee points if those five players do hit.

Herbert should easily return value as the only healthy running back left on the Bears and the Colts defense should give us a nice foundation against a terrible Texans offense.

However, if you are playing a cash lineup I would recommend not putting all your eggs in one basket like this lineup does. While it is still important to stack your quarterback with one of their wide receivers and bring it back with a player on the other end, five players in the same game is pretty much the cap. Regardless of your eventual lineup, best of luck in your Week 6 DFS endeavors!
