The 11th greatest quarterback-tight end duo in NFL history: Marc Wilson & Todd Christensen

Marc Wilson and Todd Christensen make up the second Raider duo on this list. When the 20th ranked Ken Stabler and Dave Casper wrapped up their work to end the 1970s, Wilson and Christensen picked up where they left off to dominate the 1980s.

These two became teammates in 1980, but it took them some time to get in rhythm. It wasn’t until 1983 that the two really showed potential as a duo. That season, Christensen led the NFL with 92 receptions while adding 1,247 yards and 12 touchdowns. That was also the year he was selected to his first of five consecutive Pro bowls.

Wilson, who battled many injuries during their time together, best season came in 1985 when he led the Raiders to a 12-4 record throwing 2,608 yards and 16 touchdowns, six of them to Christensen.

In total they connected 388 times for 5,004 yards and 36 touchdowns in 93 games. The duo also has two Super Bowl rings (1980, 1983), unfortunately, Wilson was a backup for the first one and injured for the second.
