The Chicago Bears hosted the Green Bay Packers and once again they left the game with a loss.

There are certain things that seem inevitable — death, taxes, and a Chicago Bears loss to the Green Bay Packers.

It’s confounding how the Bears just cannot consistently beat the Packers. Yes, it started with Brett Favre. He dominated the Bears over his career. That was with just with the Packers, however. When he was with Green Bay, he owned a 22-10 record against the Bears. When he played with the Minnesota Vikings, though, he had a 1-3 record. Once he left Green Bay, his dominance disappeared.

Hopefully, the same will happen to Aaron Rodgers. Since he took over for Favre in Green Bay, he had a 21-5 record against Chicago. Chicago Bears fans are looking forward to the day he leaves Green Bay. Maybe Ryan Pace will pay his moving expenses.

After this past Sunday, Rodgers added another victory, and he let the Bears fans know about it, too.

This was the Bears’ 14th loss in their last 16 games against the Packers. No matter how hard they play, or who they have on the roster, the Packers will get the job done.

Such was the case on Sunday. The Bears ran out to an early 7-0 lead. They threatened again on their second drive. However, a missed offsides call resulted in a Justin Fields interception. Then the Packers took that and scored 17 unanswered points.

The Bears scored to make it close again, but Rodgers spun his magic and scored a touchdown by using his legs. It was his third touchdown of the afternoon.

Now the Bears are left to wonder what they can do to beat Green Bay. They have one more chance to beat them and Rodgers, in Week 14.

For now, however, here are some thoughts on the Bears’ latest loss to the Packers.
