Scouting Report. Jaxson Kirkland. 21. OT. Washington. player. 56. Pick Analysis

21. Cincinnati Bengals: Jaxson Kirkland, OT, Washington

We all heard the criticism for the Cinncinati Bengals when they took Ja’Marr Chase out of LSU instead of Penei Sewell from Oregon. Sewell was a highly regarded offensive tackle and while he’s done fine, there’s no denying that Chase has been the more impactful player for his team — and Riley Reiff has done about as well as Sewell this season at left tackle.

Of course, Reiff — who was a free agent signing this offseason — isn’t a long-term answer but more of a stop-gap. That worked out for them since they landed Chase but now with this pick, they do go after a new offensive tackle with Jaxson Kirkland.

A prototypical left tackle with very few holes in his game, Kirkland would start right away in Cincy and improve their line.

Drake Jackson. 22. player. 35. EDGE. USC. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis

22. Tennessee Titans: Drake Jackson, EDGE, USC

After this season, the Tennessee Titans will have a tough call to make with Harold Landry. He’s been a solid player for them but they just paid Bud Dupree big money on one side. They might not be willing to fork out a huge contract again at the same position and that could lead to Landry exiting.

If he does, Drake Jackson from USC could be a good replacement. He’s still a bit of a projection player when it comes to rushing the passer but his potential is incredibly enticing.
