Pick Analysis. DeMarvin Leal. 44. player. Scouting Report. EDGE. Texas AM. 7

7. Atlanta Falcons: DeMarvin Leal, EDGE, Texas A&M

There’s a lot wrong with the Atlanta Falcons roster right now and it’s hard to predict exactly what they will do to fix things. During this past draft, there was some speculation about them going after a new quarterback and while that still seems like a possibility, they also seem willing to let Matt Ryan play until he simply can’t any longer.

With that being the case, they elect to bulk up their defensive line with the selection of DeMarvin Leal from Texas A&M. Atlanta’s defensive line currently goes as Grady Jarrett goes, which is why they need someone such as Leal who can help shoulder some of the load.

54. Michigan. Aidan Hutchinson. 8. player. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. EDGE

8. Philadelphia Eagles: Aidan Hutchinson, EDGE, Michigan

Back on the clock again in the top-10, we have the Philadelphia Eagles, who have their own selection in the 2022 NFL Draft coming up here. After adding Kyle Hamilton with their first pick, they go back to the defensive well, this time by selecting Aidan Hutchinson from Michigan.

Listed at 6-foot-5 and 270-pounds, Hutchinson is capable of playing multiple spots on the line and knows how to win with both power and acceleration. He could have gone into the draft in 2021 but went back for another season and in the end, that helps him climb up the boards.

For Philly, it allows them a player who can offer up a lot of what Brandon Graham has been giving them for many years now.
