Andrew Booth, Jr.. Pick Analysis. Clemson. CB. 13. player. 54. Scouting Report

13. Philadelphia Eagles (via Indianapolis Colts): Andrew Booth Jr., CB, Clemson

Stop me if you’ve heard this before — the Philadelphia Eagles are on the clock.

This third and final pick is still being projected to land with the Eagles but there’s a chance it could stay with Indianapolis. The Colts will owe this pick to Philly if Carson Wentz plays in 75 percent of their snaps and so far, he has done that. Until he misses a bunch of time, it’s safe to assume this pick will belong with the Eagles.

Much like their previous two selections in this mock, the focus remains on defense as they take Clemson cornerback Andrew Booth, Jr. For the past couple of seasons, this secondary has been susceptible to the big play on the outside, and adding Booth could help slow down opposing teams — especially when paired with their other defenders.

87. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. player. Ikem Ekwonu. 14. OT. NC State

14. Carolina Panthers: Ikem Ekwonu, OT, NC State

After the first few games of the season, the Carolina Panthers looked to be legit contenders in the NFC. Then, they started to come back down to earth and now have a lot to figure out.

One issue is who will play left tackle going forward, and the answer could very well be in the upcoming draft, and that’s what happens here with Ikem Ekwonu from North Carolina State. He should be a day one starter for the Panthers and would be an improvement on their line.
