25 best Offensive Rookie of the Year winners ranked by playing career: 22.  Anquan Boldin – Arizona Cardinals

We’re starting to get into some really good careers when Anquan Boldin is number 22 on the list. There was real talk he could make the Hall of Fame at the wide receiver position. He was known for his toughness and ability to make plays in the clutch. He might have lost a little luster only because Larry Fitzgerald had such an amazing career in Arizona, but Boldin was representing the Cardinals before Fitz got in the league.

Boldin immediately made an impact on the league. In his first season with the Cardinals, he caught 101 balls for 1,377 yards and eight touchdowns. He did that with a really old Jeff Blake and a really young Josh McCown. Boldin transcended talent, and he kept going for the next 14 years. It’s unheard of for a wide receiver to last that long, but Boldin was just build to sustain his production in the NFL.

Bolding finished his career with 13,447 yards, good for 14th all-time. He was also ninth all-time in receptions, ahead of guys like Reggie Wayne and Isaac Bruce. Boldin was as consistent as they come. There was nobody as reliable on the field as Anquan Boldin. He led the league in yards per game from a receiver in 2005, and he broke 1,000 yards on a season seven different times. His resumé is impressive. He was underrated when he was in the league, and he’s arguably more underrated now. However, Boldin deserves his due for what he did for this league.
