25 best Offensive Rookie of the Year winners ranked by playing career: 18. Odell Beckham Jr.- New York Giants

Another controversial choice, Odell Beckham Jr. seems to be a player we forget was once the obvious choice for best receiver in the league. His rookie season is unlike anything we’ve seen from the position in a long time. He averaged more than 100 yards per game, leading the league in yards per game amongst all pass catchers. He caught 80% of the passes Eli Manning threw his way, and he took them to paydirt 12 times.

Beckham would not slow down while with the Giants. He broke 1,000 yards in five of his first six seasons in the league. He’s been a big-play machine since entering the league. Beckham has been followed by controversy for honestly the dumbest stuff. He proposed to a kicking net, he colors his hair, he dances too much, and honestly none of that matters. He’s a baller on the field, and he’s still a major asset in this league.

His tenure with the Cleveland Browns has been marred by injuries, and he’s struggling to find chemistry with Baker Mayfield this season, but there’s a chance for an explosion of statistics on the horizon. That is Beckham. He is one week away from having the best week from a receiver in the NFL.

Beckham’s ridiculous catches are what his legacy will be. Catching them constantly behind his head with one hand is just something nobody else can do. He’s a special talent that had a really good few years before facing a little too much adversity.
