Titans: 3 dream trade deadline targets to help Super Bowl push

3. Hayden Hurst, TE, Falcons

The Tennessee offense obviously flows through King Derrick Henry, whose impact on this team cannot be overstated.

With that being said, Tennessee has just 25 targets distributed between their top two tight ends Anthony Firkser and Geoff Swaim, neither of whom has made a significant impact in the passing game.

As far as “dreamy” additions go, Hayden Hurst may not be the first player that comes to mind, but he is a very good receiving tight end who could really help the Titans round out their offensive weaponry.

Why would the Falcons make a move like this?

In addition to having some relational equity with head coach Arthur Smith, formerly the offensive coordinator in Tennessee, the Falcons have breakthrough rookie Kyle Pitts, the highest-drafted tight end of all time.

Hurst still has some decent production this season behind Pitts, but the Falcons could get some decent value for him from a team like Tennessee.
