Well, the Atlanta Falcons are doing what they need to do. Kind of.

They have three wins on the season as they knocked off some bad teams. They now have victories over the New York Giants, New York Jets, and Miami Dolphins.

Of course, looking at their schedule, it’s a wonder how they were blown out by the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 1 or how they lost to the Washington Football Team in Week 4. Overall, they have had a rather simple schedule with only one game coming against a winning team. That happened to be their Week 2 game against the Bucs, but they lost that one 48-25.

Still, their back-to-back wins moved them to 3-3 which means they still have hope for the season. They also showed some resiliency in this one as they took a late surge from Miami and still found a way to win.

After going up 20-7, the Falcons were outscored 21-7 as Miami was up 28-27 with just over two and a half minutes to play. They then moved the ball 57 yards to set up a 36-yard field goal from Younghoe Koo — who knocked it right down the middle.

Next week, they face the struggling Carolina Panthers which could help them get above 500 for the first time this season.
