In hindsight, the 20-0 comment might not have been the best move for Patrick Mahomes. Sure, his proclamation that the Kansas City Chiefs wanted to run the table isn’t the reason for their struggles but it just looks awkward now that they’ve lost four of their first seven games of the season.

Their latest defeat was at the hands of the Tennessee Titans who made it look easy. Tennessee jumped out to a 27-0 lead at the half and then spent the final 30 minutes playing keep away as the Chiefs managed to score just three points during that time.

Most concerning was the injury suffered by Patrick Mahomes who took a knee to the head late in the fourth quarter. There was a report during the game that Mahomes passed his concussion test which is surprising considering how he looked when he was down on the turf, but they wisely stuck with Chadd Henne to close it out.

Mahomes also continued his unfortunate streak of turnovers as he now has nine with at least one pick coming in six of seven games this season. He also fumbled twice, with one being recovered by the Titans.

Kansas City has a lot to figure out and their defense is just too bad to also deal with the offense having the yips.
