A win in Week 1 over the Buffalo Bills seemed to be a fluke for the Pittsburgh Steelers when they were then beaten by the Las Vegas Raiders, Cincinnati Bengals, and Green Bay Packers. At 1-3, everyone was writing off the Steelers and especially quarterback Ben Roethlisberger who seemed to have very little left in his arm.

Then they scored back-to-back wins as they knocked off the Denver Broncos and Seattle Seahawks before heading into the bye week. That means they’re now at 3-3 and preparing for a game against the Cleveland Browns who might again be without Baker Mayfield.

For Pittsburgh, this could be a revenge game as the Browns not only beat them in Week 17 to earn a spot in the playoffs, but they also knocked the Steelers off the following week to win in the Wild Card round.

A win is a win but even if the Steelers pull out the upset against the Browns, they would be taking out a team that’s suffered a ton of injures. As for their other wins, the Broncos are in the midst of a four-game losing streak and they barely walked away with a win over the Seahawks without Russell Wilson.

So, Pittsburgh is still alive but they need to prove they can hold their own against the better teams, or else the Buffalo win will again look like the anomaly.
