Fantasy Football waiver wire, Week 8

Quarterbacks

1. Trevor Lawrence, Jaguars

I gave you a heads up to pick up Trevor Lawrence while the Jaguars were on a bye week. If there’s still a chance to snag him, especially if you are the team in your league with the weak starting quarterback, he could be a season changer for you.

Over his last two games, Lawrence has nearly 600 yards passing and three total touchdowns.

As the season progresses and Lawrence gets more comfortable, his production is only going to increase. The Jags left London with their first win of the season and Lawrence is a difference maker.

2. Mac Jones, Patriots

Over the last four weeks, Mac Jones has three games with two touchdown passes and had his first game with over 300 yards through the air against the New York Jets.

The Patriots don’t play the Jets every week but Jones might be worth a stream in Week 8 against the Los Angeles Chargers if you need someone to play.

3. Tyrod Taylor, Texans

Early on in the season, Tyrod Taylor was playing some really good football.

This poor guy might be the unluckiest player in the league over the last few years between the timing of the injuries he’s suffered, issues with the medical staff in Los Angeles, and jumping on board teams that either draft their QB of the future immediately after his arrival or simply have plans to move on.

In 1.5 games this season, Taylor has four touchdowns (3 passing, 1 rushing) and could provide a spark for Houston in David Culley’s offense.
