3 Evan Engram landing spots at the 2021 NFL trade deadline

1. Los Angeles Rams

Why the Los Angeles Rams?

Why not the Los Angeles Rams?

The Rams are always making deals. General manager Les Snead has seemingly never seen a trade possibility he didn’t like.

No team in the NFL has built a more impressive roster infrastructure via the power of the trade than the Rams have.

Considering this Rams team is arguably the best in the NFC (or maybe NFL) already, the rich could get even richer with an Evan Engram trade.

Los Angeles said goodbye to Gerald Everett in the offseason when he signed a contract with the division-rival Seattle Seahawks.

Tyler Higbee is still playing a significant role for the Rams’ offense with 33 targets in their seven games thus far, but a player like Engram could fill the void left behind by Everett and provide some valuable insurance in case Higbee is injured over the course of the remainder of the season.

Not to mention, as well as the Rams’ offense has been playing, a player like Engram could rehab his value and net Los Angeles a nice compensatory pick down the line if he signs a big deal in free agency.
