2022 NFL Mock Draft: Picks 21-22

21. Buffalo Bills: Kaiir Elam, CB, Florida

16. Florida. Kaiir Elam. 21. player. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. CB

The Buffalo Bills don’t really have many roster weaknesses at this point.

This team is really set up well for the coming years and they need to simply make sure they are drafting for depth and future starters at positions where tough financial decisions might need to be made.

We’ve seen Buffalo invest heavily in the trenches on both sides of the ball, and here they go after some help at the cornerback position.

Buffalo’s secondary could use upgrades even as we sit here today, so a playmaker like Kaiir Elam with great size and ball skills could be a fantastic first-round value beyond the top-20 picks.

Some see him as more of a CB1 type of prospect, so we’ll see how much his stock rises throughout the pre-draft process.

22. Los Angeles Chargers: Treylon Burks, WR, Arkansas

WR. Treylon Burks. 22. player. 13. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Arkansas

The Los Angeles Chargers moved on from Hunter Henry this past offseason, so why not replace him with another former Arkansas Razorback?

Although Treylon Burks is not a tight end, he’s a big, fast, and physical receiver who can make plays in space.

Whether he’s being targeted deep downfield or simply given the ball with a chance to make something happen after the catch, Burks is a threat anytime he gets the rock.

Joining the Chargers’ star-studded offense, he would make this group of skill players borderline unfair.
