2022 NFL Mock Draft: Picks 13-14

13. Philadelphia Eagles: Kenyon Green, OL, Texas A&M

With their top two picks in this 2022 NFL mock draft scenario, the Philadelphia Eagles have gone after some cornerstone pieces.

With this pick coming from the Colts in the Carson Wentz trade, the Eagles get yet another cornerstone piece and someone who could play a variety of positions on the offensive line moving forward.

With Jordan Mailata signing a four-year, $64 million deal, Green would likely begin his NFL career at the guard position (which he has proven he can play) with the option to kick him out as time goes on.

14. Carolina Panthers: Ikem Ekwonu, OT, North Carolina State

When you look at some of the players the Carolina Panthers have prioritized early on in the Matt Rhule era, they all have one thing in common: They are nasty.

Up to this point, the Panthers have not used a top pick on the offensive side of the ball under Rhule, and even though it’s only been two draft classes, he used literally the entire 2020 NFL Draft class on defensive players.

The offense needs some love.

If it’s Sam Darnold or someone else, offensive line help will be needed and Ikem Ekwonu is one of the most physical, nastiest linemen in this year’s class.
