The biggest shock of the weekend came courtesy of the New York Jets who were on fire in the second half against Cincinnati. Mike White put up 405 yards with three touchdowns as he and the Jets won 34-31.

It was only their second win of the season, with the other coming at the hands of the Tennessee Titans. It makes no sense how they beat them and even less sense that they beat Cincy with Mike White, but here we are.

Plays on Monday Night Football vs. Kansas City Chiefs

It felt as though heading into this season that the New York Giants might finally be ready to turn a corner. They went out and added some weapons in the passing game and had Saquon Barkley returning from a torn ACL. However, we now enter Week 8 and they’re just 2-5 with a contest against a frustrated Kansas City team looking to get back on track following a 3-4 start to the season.

The Giants are simply a mess and it’s hard to see them holding their own against the Chiefs, even with their season off to an abnormal start.

Another week, another loss for the Washington Football Team.

They won the NFC East at 7-9 last season and there were some expectations that they could improve this year. That hasn’t been the case as they are now 2-6 following a loss to the Denver Broncos this weekend.

They get a week off now but have a date with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers the following weekend. That’s not the best team to face when trying to end a four-game skid.

. Previous: 26th. Philadelphia Eagles. 25. team. 54.

Entering the weekend, the Philadelphia Eagles were 2-5 but you would have never known it by how sharp they looked on Sunday. Of course, it helps that they were playing the happless Detroit Lions who are now 0-8 on the season.

Philly should be happy with the win but there’s a lot to get right in order to get back into the NFC East race. Unfortunately, they won’t play the Lions every weekend so that’s probably not going to happen.
