Justin Fields put up 103 yards on the ground and had two total touchdowns as he did everything he could to keep the Chicago Bears in the game. They had the lead heading into the fourth but the 49ers put up 18 in the final 15 minutes to steal the win.

Chicago is now 3-5 and the calls for Matt Nagy’s head are only going to grow louder.

Atlanta Falcons. 23. team. 44. . . Previous: 19th

It was a rough outing to say the least for Matt Ryan and the Atlanta Falcons. The veteran quarterback managed just 146 yards passing and had two picks but he also was without Calvin Ridley which made things hard on him.

Atlanta is now 3-4 and trending in the wrong direction. Things could get ugly in a hurry if they don’t figure out their identity.

Carolina Panthers. 22. team. 87. . . Previous: 23rd

Sam Darnold took a nasty hit that ended his day a bit early but the Carolina Panthers still secured a win over the Falcons. It was a huge victory mainly because it stopped a four-game losing streak.

Now at 4-4, they still can make some noise but if we are being honest, this feels like a team that can win eight games at best.

Denver Broncos. 21. team. 45. . . Previous: 24th

It was a complete team win as the Denver Broncos held Washington to just 10 points, blocked two field goals, and scored a touchdown on an 11-play, 55-yard drive in the fourth quarter to seal a 17-10 win over the Football Team.

Now at 4-4, they’re not one of the powerhouses in the NFL but they still have a fighting chance of making a run in the second half.
