Denver Broncos: More big moves to make after Von Miller blockbuster

2. Melvin Gordon to the Tennessee Titans

The chances of Melvin Gordon getting traded seem pretty slim despite the obvious reasons he might be on the trade block.

Gordon is in a contract year. There are plenty of NFL teams that need running back help.

Still, the position is so devalued in today’s NFL that teams don’t really want to give up a lot of value in return for rentals at the position.

A team like the Titans might do it, though.

Losing Derrick Henry to a season-ending injury is brutal, and even though the team signed Adrian Peterson, Melvin Gordon is playing some really good football of late.

Gordon is just about guaranteed for 10 touchdowns per season and he contributes on all three downs. Losing Derrick Henry means the Titans have to replace a massive target share in their offense.

A player like Gordon, for the right price, could be really helpful to the current top seed in the AFC.
