2022 NFL Trade Deadline Winners and Losers

Loser: Cleveland Browns

What a dramatic day for the Cleveland Browns and their fan base.

After suffering an ugly loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday, the Browns were certainly under no obligation to make any sort of moves…

…but they probably should have found a way to unload Odell Beckham Jr.

Beckham’s dad was posting videos about how his son is not getting the ball thrown to him.

LeBron James is out there tweeting #FreeOBJ:

These are clear signs of the distraction Beckham has been for the Browns, not to mention, Baker Mayfield has been much worse when Odell is on the field and when he’s trying to force-feed him the ball than when he’s out or not playing.

Unfortunately, the trade to acquire Beckham and pair him up with his old college teammate Jarvis Landry has been a complete failure for the Browns, and it hasn’t exactly worked out for the Giants, either.

The Browns are losers of this trade deadline for their failure to send Beckham Jr. away to another team.
