Dallas Cowboys prediction No. 1: Dak Prescott stays clean, throws for 400 yards

Last week, it felt as though the Cowboys were going to see their five-game winning streak come to an end. That was due to the fact they were playing without their star quarterback as Dak Prescott was sitting the game out due to a calf injury that he suffered on a game-winning touchdown pass at New England.

The bye week before their trip to Minnesota allowed him to heal up enough to test his calf before the game but roughly 90 minutes before kickoff, it was announced Cooper Rush would play. As exciting as it was to see the backup throw for 325 yards and a couple of touchdowns, there’s no denying Prescott is the better option.

Looking ahead to Week 9, all signs are indicating the Cowboys will have No. 4 back under center against the Broncos. That’s a good thing since the Denver defense has been solid against the pass — meaning they will need Prescott to be on the field to truly test this secondary.

In our final bold prediction, Dak does suit up and play. Not only that, but he will avoid taking any sacks at all — despite Tyron Smith being injured — and will wind up with his third performance of 400-plus yards this season.
