Odell Beckham Jr. Destination #1: Seattle Seahawks

The Seattle Seahawks are almost always in the market for players and situations like the one we’re looking at right now with Odell Beckham Jr.

Remember their longstanding relationship with Josh Gordon?

You need to look no further than that, even though there are a wide variety of examples.

The Seahawks may not make sense to many who are looking at this situation with tunnel vision. Yes, Russell Wilson is on the injured list at this particular moment in time, but guess what?

He’s eventually going to come off.

The Seahawks are hoping to be 4-5 after Week 9 of NFL action, and if they can get to 4-5, they can remain in contention for a playoff spot in the NFC. Imagine Russell Wilson coming back to a roster that includes Odell Beckham Jr…

Although the Seahawks’ willingness to take on players with some off-field history or issues has worked out in a variety of cases, it hasn’t been 100 percent successful.

With that being said, imagine trying to defend a Russell Wilson-led offense with DK Metcalf, Tyler Lockett, and Odell Beckham on the field.

The Seahawks have one of the highest waiver priorities, they have some of the most available cap space, and they have a need for some kind of jolt sitting at 3-5 with their star QB on his way back.
