The Dallas Cowboys were never in the game against Denver and that leads to many duds, including Dak Prescott, in this week’s studs and duds

Sunday was a day to forget for the Dallas Cowboys who were run out of their own building by the Denver Broncos.

While the scoreboard said 30-16, it was never even as close as that would suggest. The Broncos controlled the game throughout as they snapped a six-game winning streak for Dallas.

Thankfully, it was only one loss and they should be able to rebound. With that all said, let’s take a look at which players stood out both good and bad with our weekly studs and duds.

Dallas Cowboys dud: Nahshon Wright

It’s not easy to come down on Nahshon Wright but he was part of a play that really turned the tide for Dallas. Trailing 16-0, the Cowboys forced a three-and-out, and then Malik Turner blocked the ensuing punt which could have been the break they needed to get back in the game.

But unfortunately, Wright reached for the ball and when it bounced off his hands it became live and Denver picked it back up. That gave them a new set of downs and instead of it being a two-score game deep in Broncos territory, the Cowboys didn’t see it again until they were down 19-0.

A tough play that Wright wishes he had back, but one that killed any shot at momentum.

Dallas Cowboys stud: Dalton Schultz

Amari Cooper and CeeDee Lamb had some very uncharacteristic drops. Dalton Schultz, however, did not.

Schultz led the team with 54 yards on four receptions. He was one of the few starters who seemed to come through whenever called upon as he keeps building on a career year.
