Quarterly MVP Rankings: 11. Derrick Henry +2500

Yes, believe it or not, but Derrick Henry still holds a fairly high spot in the MVP odds. It’s pretty puzzling considering that the multiple-time Pro Bowler is out for the rest of the season with a leg injury.

Before he went down, Henry was picking up a ton of momentum in the MVP race. His season comes to an end with 937 rushing yards and 10 touchdowns. At his current pace, he was most likely going to crush every running back record. Now, of course, all of that falls by the wayside.

It’s pretty much impossible for Henry to grab this year’s MVP award. For those who placed your money on him before the season, we feel bad for you. It was a great bet initially, but at this point, you’ve effectively flushed that money down the drain.

Hopefully, he’ll be able to bounce back from surgery next year and run over guys.
